The boy who lifted the mountain

NOMAD GAME JAM 2024 — "THE BOY WHO LIFTED THE MOUNTAIN"

On December 6, my friend Yelaman and I took part in Nomad Game Jam 2024 as Araba Games. We decided to experiment by blending comic book storytelling with visual novel mechanics.

Yelaman was in charge of the visuals, while I focused on the narrative and assembling the game. The result of this creative journey was "The Boy Who Lifted the Mountain" — a reimagining of the Kazakh folk tale "Tolaǵai" through a modern, interactive lens.
